The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri
province informed that the world's leading travel magazine Lonely Planet has
just informed readers about the Top 15 most attractive destinations and
experiences in Vietnam, in which Quang Tri has 2 destinations: Phong Nha-Ke
Bang National Park and Vinh Moc Tunnels.
According to Lonely Planet, exploring the majestic cave system at Phong
Nha-Ke Bang National Park is in the top 10, with the information: This
national park in the North Central region of Vietnam is a forgotten world of
dense forests and giant cave systems, most notably the world's largest cave,
Son Doong Cave.
Currently, the Son Doong tour is fully booked until 2026, but if you can't
get a spot on this precious tour, don't worry, because there are many other
beautiful caves around waiting for you to explore.
Besides, Vinh Moc Tunnels is one of the typical destinations for the
experience of exploring the Vietnam War through the eyes of local people
along with Cu Chi Tunnels ( Ho Chi Minh City ) and Hamburger Hill (Hue).
Recently, at the Vietnam Tourism Awards 2025 ceremony of the Ministry of

According to the representative of the Department of Culture, Sports and
Tourism of Quang Tri, these votes and honors demonstrate the diversity and
attractiveness of the system of typical tourism products of Quang Tri
province: cave tourism, cultural and historical tourism, adventure tourism,
eco-tourism and the application of modern science and technology, preserving
and promoting cultural values associated with sustainable tourism
development.
At the same time, it continues to affirm the brand of Quang Tri tourist
destination on the tourism map of Vietnam and Asia.
